Hello all,
I have a question regarding a strange artifact we're getting while
recording + a few guesses. First of all, this is a recording made in
flash (adobe flash - not flash memory) using the getMicrophone
technique. It's not what one would call "high tech", but it works
magic for what our cl
Hello all,
quite a while (years rather than months!) there was this long
discussion about limiters at musicdsp and someone mentioned a design
of cascading envelope followers. I'm thinking it was RBJ, but not too
sure... The design was something like:
e1 = env_follower1(abs(signal))
e2 = env_foll
hello all,
I'm wondering if someone here is interested in maintaining musicdsp.org.
I don't have the time to mess around with the PHP code right now, and
it's getting VERY badly attacked by spammers.
If anyone in here knows PHP, has some experience with (small) websites
and feels like making mu

guys guys guys don't get ahead of yourselves! :-)
musicdsp.org is pretty simple in terms of code. Rewriting in drupal
(or similar) would take way too long and would -this is much more
important- require someone who is dedicated to musicdsp.org for the
next few years (as I myself have very little e

Hey guys,
Reading rbj's thread made me think again I''d like to do some simple
music processing on a dedicated board with a dedicated chip...
Something that runs on low-power (battery??), just for me to write
some simple audio I/O stuff, hook up one or two pots and tweak the
sound.
I have absolu
Maybe I should also add: dirt cheap :D

I found *some* references to miDuino but not musiDuino.
Well, a PDF would definitely be useful if anyone has it... :-)
Dave thanks for the code!
greetings,

Hey MusicDSP,
what is the general feeling about job posts / spam on this list?
of course I'm talking about something very related to the list (i.e. plugin
development in specific).

Hi all,
I will only abuse music-dsp once to do this, here goes:
Over at http://www.holoplot.com we're building multi-driver speaker panels
with over 60 speakers per panel which are used for wavefield-synthesis and
beam-forming. We are creating multiple applications which will allow
