2018 AES Latin American Congress September 24-26 2018 Montevideo, Uruguay http://lac2018.aesuruguay.org The Audio Engineering Society is pleased to announce the 2018 AES Latin American Congress of Audio Engineering, to be held between September 24th and 26th in Montevideo, Uruguay. Members of scientific and technological communities in the fields of audio, engineering, computing, music and acoustics are invited to submit (full) papers of original works of research, development and innovation. Each paper must have 4 to 8 pages. Accepted papers must be presented orally. It is also strongly encouraged the participation of students of engineering, technical and undergraduate courses related to the field by submitting papers describing initiation to scientific research and undergraduate works. These works can be submitted as expanded abstracts (up to 2 pages) and if accepted will be presented in poster sessions. Papers must be submitted in electronic format through the JEMS/SBC system, available at https://submissoes.sbc.org.br. Proposals written in English, Spanish, and Portuguese will be accepted.
