The Professorship for Audio Information Processing (AIP) of the Technical 
University of Munich focuses on psychoacoustics, virtual and room acoustics, 
hearing devices, auditory models and its applications. For a start-up company 
in acoustic virtual reality we are looking for a future Co-Founder as a 
full-time position as scientific assistant to start at the earliest convenient 
date.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  *   Development of methods and professional software for interactive 
audio(-visual) virtual reality
  *   Creation of publications and presentations (pitches) in English
  *   Help with raising funding for the start-up company
  *   Build-up of cooperations
  *   Market research on interactive acoustic and audio-visual virtual reality

QUALIFICATIONS:

  *   Interest in heading a startup-company, taking over responsibility for the 
team and company, business travel and obtaining funding
  *   Successfully completed master's or doctoral degree (PhD) in one of the 
following areas: Game engineering, audio technology, virtual reality, signal 
processing, computer science, or a related area
  *   Knowledge and experience desirable in virtual acoustics, audio signal 
processing, parallel computing, real-time processing, audio programming under 
Windows, VST-plugins
  *   Very good programming skills in C/C++
  *   Excellent written and oral communication skills
  *   Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills and cooperation with project 
partners

Employment is according to the state employees salary scheme (TV-L/E13) and is
