The selected associate will have the opportunity to further pursue academic qualifications such as PhD.
Interested applicants should have a solid background in one or more of the following areas : - Computer Animation - Digital Signal Processing (Audio and/or Video) - Audio/Speech and/or Video Coding - Audio and Speech Processing Responsibilities : - Carrying out novel research - Support teaching activities (preparation and conduct of lectures) Requirements : - Holds a Master degree in any of the areas of media technology or natural science fields. - Practical and theoretical experience in the following areas : Digital Signal Processing, Statistics, Numerical Optimization - Good communication skills, commitment, enthusiasm, ability to work independently and inside a team, and to provide direction and guidance to students - Very good knowledge of English language About the institute : The Institute for Media Technology provides interdisciplinary collaboration with other institutes of the Technical University Ilmenau, the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology in Ilmenau and the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits in Erlangen.
