IMAP Question

Hej: the documentation says cryptically that one should point to the imap mail box with a construction like: { imapserver}UserMailBox. Does this mean: {foobar.idiot.org}Mbox where Mbox is the user processesd Inbox /var/mail name. Will the construction {foobar.idiot.org}/var/mail/isafool also
