I would like to be able to send messages to some people with customized
signatures and for some I want a trimmed down signature file.
Is there anyway to be able to select from a list of signature files for
a message?

The shell script sounds like a good idea; I'm trying to implement it but
I'm getting a funny error when I try to execute this:
macro attach o ":pipe-entry\ncat /tmp/001 ; sz /tmp/001\n" "Send file"
It's saying "key is not bound" when a quick check of the "?" help screen
shows clearly that
As an example I have this for what you wish to achive:
folder-hook xxx "set signature= ~/.signature-"
This sets my signature to be different when sending from my xxx
folder.

Hi,
John Buttery muttered:
macro attach o ":pipe-entry\ncat /tmp/001 ; sz /tmp/001\n" "Send file"
pipe-entry is a function, no ':' needed :)
macro attach o "pipe-entrycat /tmp/test"\n
should work

I think that's the right approach, though it could be done in just Mutt
macros too probably... But in a shell script you can use a temp
filename and check it doesn't exist and all that kind
Hi Everybody,
I need some advice on how to properly configure Mutt on my machine. I
have a DSL connection with a POP account with my ISP. So far, i've
tried to use fetchmail, sendmail and Mutt to handle mail on my machine.
I am the only user on this system.
First of all, I can't figure out

My (shortened) 'subscribe' and 'mailboxes' lines are as follows. Note
that there are no references to ./cur or ./new or ./tmp.

Interessting, with 1.2.5i I see 'Maildir/' and 'mbox' is there any
folder_format expando I am missing? I would prefere to have Maildirs
displayed the same way as mboxes just to not mix them with 'normal'
dirs.
Not that I know of,
