line wrap with editors

Hello, when I install evince, the file /etc/mailcap is updated automatically and I can see the pdf files attached to an email, but if I remove evince and I install atril instead, the file /etc/mailcap is not updated. Of course I configure it by hand. But I would like to know who is concerned by
