I'm using mutt 1.5.21 on OS X to read mail from Fastmail IMAP. I have header caching enabled and set up, and as far as I can tell, it is being used. At least, all the .hcache files have recent modification times. Yet it still takes over a minute to switch to a folder with about 4000 messages in
