Note also that this list is slightly substandard in that there is no
List-ID header. There may be software out there that uses that header
to determine if a message is a list message in the first place.

Using the non standard prompt makes your messages difficult to read,

Saving all attachments

2015-05-31 Thread Xu Wang
When doing the following, as suggested by [1],

save-entrykill-line/home/xuwang/Downloads/enter

I am presented with File is a directory, save under it? [(y)es, (n)o, (a)ll]

Is there an option to choose this value in an rc variable? I cannot
seem to find it?
I would like to have the automatic response yes.

Kind regards,

Xu

using 'push' in a macro

2015-05-31 Thread Xu Wang
Sometimes I would like to use 'push' in a macro, but I cannot figure
out the way to achieve this. For example, I have:

macro attach E push
save-entrykill-line/home/xuwang/Downloads/enteryenter xu
save

What would the correct syntax be?

Kind regards,

Xu

Exactly - I've been on this list for a few years. It seems that Patrick
wakes up in a bad mood EVERY day.

Actually, most lists I'm subscribed to state in the mailing list policy
that personal copies are only acceptable if the OP *asks* to be CC'd. If
there is no list reply function then it is up to the poster to edit the
headers to conform to policy.

Alas, it seems that if you append 'Sent from my iPhone' then you are
excused. :(

 Maybe try:

This does work. Thank you for this and all of your other helps.
