I've just started a blog, and in a recent post, I reference a large number of authors that my readers may or may not have heard about. I wanted to share wikipedia articles for all of them, then I thought, "what if I could create a single page that would be like a collection of the links, that is still within wikipedia, so people can just go there and branch out, but maybe bookmark and return to. I also am a teacher, and I see great benefit in using this to create supplemental reading lists, and/or to give as reference material after a presentation. Lightbulbs are going off big time. So. I get to wikipedia, there are collections! Cool! This is where the train jumps the tracks. Either I'm not getting it, or this is a very intensive, code based adventure. I'm not code averse, I've hand coded many sites and dabble in PHP and flash, so, am I wrong? Is there a UI version of this, or do I need to get my sleeves up and get some code under my nails....
Please let me know. You don't have to walk me through, but a point in the right direction would be cool.
