I've just noticed the following behaviour. It looks like a bug to me, but the rest of you might remember a discussion thread where this was decided as a feature:
When I'm in my locked Outline view (which is manually sorted), I often create a new, zoomed view on a project by selecting that project and clicking the shortcut key to zoom in. I've just noticed that the new view defaults with some of the tasks in a different order. It may be that it's tasks which were originally created in a different view. If I move the tasks in the new zoomed view, they do not get moved to the same place in the Outline view. If this is a feature then it's one I find quite confusing. I'd expect my new view to have the tasks sorted into the same order as the Outline view and any manual re-ordering of tasks to be seen in both views. If you agree it's a bug, I'll post it to JIRA.
