I never installed MLO onto the storage card but the CAB file was in storage
due to memory constraints. I will try the registry modifications tomorrow.
Is there a program you recommend to edit the registry on a PPC?

That worked like a charm.
I suppose that if you install from the storage card, the installer
thinks the sql files are also on the card, instead of the designated
destination of the main memory.
I would have never found that solution using the google groups search
function.
