Hi, I am trialing MLO for the first time and love all the features. One in particular is inserting a link to a file in the task notes.
I am inserting the link by right clicking the task notes and selecting "insert link to a file". The link appears as it should. When I click the link to open the file I keep getting the same error message: Could not execute "file (file path and name here). The operating system denied access to the specified file" I have tried everything; running MLO as administrator, installing as administrator, putting link as absolute and relative, tried different types of files in different locations. Please help, as I love the program, but if I can't get this feature working there is no point in buying the licence. Am running Win 7 32 bit.
