How to run mysld_install_db script

Ok how does one run scripts from the mysql prompt? I tried .\ mysql_install_db and that didn't work. Also the next question I have do you have to have a messageboard.user table setup in a DB to allow different hosts to connect to it? Chris L. White Network Administrator Coe-Truman

Weird

Steve, This is on Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. TCP/IP is installed, so I have not a clue. I know it should be using the IP address of the machine or the Machine name instead. Well At least I need it to function that way eventually, cause this is for a client. Chris L. White Network

MySQL Service starts and then Stops
