I am relatively new to Mysql. I am have a strange problem that is
preventing me from setting up
my database to test out mysql as a backend to an IDS system. When I
start the mysql command
I get the following output.

I am using a MySql DB for my Snort Intrusion detection system (Version
3.23.42). Four of my DB tables
mysteriously got corrupted on Saturday evening. So this morning I ran
the following commands to fix the
