select CONCAT(CONCAT(LTRIM(RTRIM(host)),'.'), LTRIM(RTRIM(domain))) from ...
The LTRIM and RTRIM will get rid of any white spaces you may have. If there
aren't any
then simply
select CONCAT(CONCAT(host,'.'), domain) from ...
