I have got phpMyAdmin connecting to my server.
When i open up index i can see on the left hand side my datbase and
tables.
And on the right of the page is the welcome page...

Looks like you're running phpMyAdmin on a machine with Windows and PHP
in CGI-mode?
I don't recall if it's PHP in CGI-mode on Windows that in general
doesn't work with
when i try to create a database i get the message

I dont think i set up mySQL properly maybe ?
