>Description:
In the tab "services", item "databases", choice "mySQL server at localhost", right click, "admin properties" tab of window "mySQl server properties" Path to start command "/usr/local/mysql/support-files/mysql.server" with argument "start" : don't work Path to stop command "/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqladmin" with argument "shutdown -u root -pxxxxx" : works In fact, it is impossible to start mySQL without using the "sudo" mode : why ? And why NetBeans has this panel to start mySQL : it is impossible to start it like that...

>How-To-Repeat:
Right click on "mySQL server at localhost" to start mySQL
>Fix:
1) using in the Terminal : "sudo /usr/local/mysql/support- files/mysql.server start"
        2) using the last version of prefPane to start / stop mySQL
        3) start / stop mySQL automaticaly at start / stop of the iMAC
