I have the lirc_serial module working with lirc-0.8.0pre3 on gentoo
with a 2.6.15 kernel. I did not use gentoo's lirc, but downloaded from
lirc.org. No issues whatsoever.
OK, thanks.

Someone got lirc_serial module with 2.6.15 kernel working?
I tried lirc-0.7.2 some symbol error at module loading. This seems to be
fixed in lirc-0.8. But with 0.8 I have got a seg fault at module
loading. Even lirc-cvs is not working for me.
For now I'm back at kernel 2.6.13...

I have problems getting my DVB cards to play well with MythTV using
the above kernel versions, even though xine plays back DVB stuffs
without a hitch.
Rolling back to kernel 2.6.10 or 2.6.12 and MythTV works again.
Are there any

Maybe mythbackend.log?
Try:
locate mythbackend.log
to find it.

I have myth compiled appropriately and I get data from my DVB-T

I'm in the UK and most of the channels I found are on Astra 2D.
Does anyone (or anyone in Europe)

Enable the DEBUG Output in siparser.cpp and look in your backend log.
There should be EPG output in the first 2-3 minutes after switching
