Nope. Just plain XV. Anyway, the hangs occurs while getting into the
watch recordings screen. No XV/XvMC there. :)
Now is it bugs in XvMC or is it the way mythtv is using it? I can play
dvd's with XvMC enabled for hours and hours and hours.. yet about 20
minutes of mythtv and ffw/rw/pause and hard lockups happen all the
time.

I ran into the same issues. I reverted to 6629(Had to patch it to get it to
compile) and everything is back to normal. going back to 6629 also fixed
my overscan controls which broke with 7167.

I tried using the 7167 driver, but had to revert back to 6629. My
system was locking up like crazy.
