Hi Jatin,
Don't try to run the sudo command using root while its configuration is made
for nagios :)
Your issue looks like you can run check_mem.pl as root and get a reply locally,
but nrpe is owned by user nagios, and user nagios won't run this plugin
correctly.

Hi Marquez
Could you provide steps to make it work , i have no idea how i can make

Thanks

When submitting the notification, there is a 'Send Notification' checkbox;
deselect it before submitting.

All,
I am trying to find out how many alerts/notifications my nagios system
has processed in the last year. Has anyone written a script or know how to
dig this out of the nagios innards? I am not looking for a itemized list,
just some statistics to show for our yearly State of Nagios report.

Hi all,
as I can see in the logfile the patches are included in version 3.2.1:
Speedup to CGIs when lots of comments or downtimes in status.dat file (Jonathan

I attach the results of nagios -s nagios.cfg from unpatched 3.2.0

It is often a lot easier to use an email-SMS gateway service rather
than setting up web sms directly. For example I used to use

We use email and SMS to deliver notifications. We do it the cheap way,
which is by using our cell provider's SMS gateway. We're in the
states, so we can get away with that. I have heard that it might not
be the case that cell providers offer a gateway service.

If I understand you correctly, you are wanting to assign two IP addresses to
one host name. Which, IIRC, should not be done. Each IP should be assigned
its own hostname.

HI,
I am using Nagios 3.2.4 with Nagios plugins 1.4.14 on Linux with Fedora
10.1.
I have configured few servers in Nagios and after some time I found that
all services for these servers are showing as
' Connection Refused by Host ' in Web console.
Please let me know what would be the issue.
Be sure that the monitored services are actually running and that the firewall
that these machines are behind are configured to let Nagios communicate with
these servers.
