I'm looking into a Nagios installation to monitor both our Data Centre
hardware as well as our own internal hardware. Would it be best to have
2 separate installations of Nagios (one for each site) or have a
distributed installation? Also what would be the best platform for

Hi List,
this means there will be a Nagios 4 release in the near future?
We don't cut a major release for tiny install bugs. Major releases
are for when we break the eventbroker API, which we try kinda hard
not to do.

Hi
I want to get information for hosts and services when user needs it using
Service Command - Re-schedule the next check of this service in Nagios GUI. I
write submit command in commands.cfg and in services.cfg I define passive
service which is used that command as check command.

I have several new RHEL 6 based machines that unlike RHEL 5 do not enumerate
storage
info for iscsi based mounts with snmp, just local storage. Anyone know what/why
this
has changed and a way around this?
Thanks!
