Hi,
Can somebody please let me know if there is any way to get a utilization
report of a server say over a month through nagios.
Something like it was utilized 20% or 30%.
Secondly, which plugin can we use to check how much is the cpu
utilization? Is there a way to get it in percentage terms?

Setting up downtime will not be possible. As our servers our being used

that.

Hi,
I have nagios configured for our lab here. But the problem I am facing
is that every time a user reboots his machine for some practical
purposes,
We get a down and subsequent up mail.
I would not like to receive these mails.
But I have not found a way where nagios would wait for 5 minutes
it.
Is there any other simpler way to solve my problem?
Thanks again,
Lalita

Hi,
I have installed and configured nrpe on a solaris client. It has been
working successfully for me.
But recently I tried to configure it the same way on two more solaris
machines and it is giving me the following error-
Check_nrpe:socket timeout after 10 seconds.
If I use -t with
-H machine1 -v SERVICESTATE -l MSSQLSERVER
Although the same command is defined in services.cfg and it is giving
the right output in web interface.
Please help.

I have made a hostgroup for Sybase servers of the sort-

Is there any way to resolve this so that I can just mention the
hostgroup name and need not write separate checks.
Kindly help,
