CHECK_ESX3.PL CRITICAL - cpu usage=-0.01 %
This Service Output is shown if the ESXi Server has nothing to do. Any
Ideas for that?

Hi,
have you had a look at the Windows Counter, if there is a Value that will be
interesting? The second way could be to 'Ping' the Printer and to use a
Eventcorrelation Engine like openITCOCKPIT or NagiosBP?

If you are using nsclient++ on your Windows System, use NRPE instead of
check_nt. So you can ignore this Messages.

Hi List,
I try to monitor my Datastores by check_esx3 by Datacenter. I want to
exclude each local_* Datastore. The following command is not working ..
./check_esx3.pl -D 10.1.82.34 -u -p -l vmfs -x local_*
What am I doing wrong?

I have a Issue with the nagios.cfg
In line 471 is the following parameter set:
use_old_host_check_logic=0
Is this Parameter is enabled (defaulft) the -v Nagios switch will prompt an
error.
If I disable this Parameter, everything is ok.
Any Ideas?

if you can change the software on windows use nsclient++- there is also a NRPE
Daemon included, and you don't nee framework 1.x or 2.x
