having a bit of trouble with notifications and the check_log command. i got the command working, so it is actually reporting the correct error (from my nagios log): [1151941987] SERVICE ALERT: Appserver1;Message Log;CRITICAL;SOFT;1;(1) < [ERROR ] however, there is no email notification triggered

I am having a similar type problem... I have searched around, didn't find anything that was exactly the same. Here are my settings: enable_notifications=1 retain_state_information=1 Notifications were working fine in our 1.x build, after I upgraded to 2.x my email, pager, etc., notifications stop
