Hi.
I'm succesfully using Nagios 3.2.3 and I installed ndoutils-1.4b9 to
have data in a MySQL db.
I configured ndomod and ndo2db and I made a lot of tries, but it does not work.
I have this in nagios.log:
[1289212021] Nagios 3.2.3 starting... (PID=1583)

Hi.
I have two Nagios installations, can I "connect" them together to have
the status of both installations in the same "tactical overview"
window of one of them?
Thank you very much!

Hi.
I'm thinking about a way to monitor the loading time of a webpage with Nagios.
Do you have any idea or any hint?
Thank you very much!

Hi.
I installed the check_nrpe plugin on the Nagios server and NRPE
running as daemon on the host I have to monitor, both compiled with
SSL support and the dh.h file created and saved in the include/
directory on the NRPE host.

I will try Centreon and Nagvis.

Could you tell me what interface (web-based is better) to view the

Hi.
I need to monitor a 3Com Baseline 2916 SFP Plus switch.
This switch supports the SNMP protocol and the public community is
enable in read-only.
I don't understand how I can monitor it through the check_snmp plugin.
I tried that without any positive result:

I'm using NRPE to monitor services on the remote servers.
I wish to make the checks made by NRPE dependent with the NRPE service itself.

I've already posted them:

Oh, sorry. This is what you asked for:

The host address in the host configuration is correct, as the other
checks works without any problem.

Hi.
I have a problem with check_tcp and its derivates (check_pop,
check_spop, check_simap and others).
When they are runned automatically by Nagios checks they give me a
"connetion refused" critical error, but if I execute them in the
command line as the user "nagios" they works good:

Specifying that I'm using a single Nagios installation (I don't have
multiple Nagios servers), what are the advantages in using NDOUtils
and MySQL to store the configurations?
If I use NDOUtils, will I still
Hi!
Could MySQL be used in Nagios3?
What is stored in the MySQL database?
Thank you very much!

I'm using NRPE to monitor a remote server.
