When I execute the corresponding command in the nagios (user) shell, I
receive an email
A. So it is not postfix nor a system problem, just nagios which
doesn't send email
I'll ask a silly point , what is your notification time and notification
commands ?
do you see in the nagios log that it is actually going to the notification
commands ?

Set your debug level to macro expansion (or some other value), and check
in the debug file (not the log file).

Few things to check :
1- In your service definition, check the following : contact_groups,
notification_period, notification_enabled 1.
2- In your contact definition, check the following :
host_notification_period, service_notification_period,
host_notification_commands,
and then beat you
with their experience.
