[Nagios-users] Event timeline view
Hi: I was wondering if someone knows about an addon to show all events related to a host or service (problems and recoveries) in a timeline. I mean, I need an addon that takes information from logs for an specific host or service and shows it in a line of time. I was trying Nagios XI Timeline without success. Thanks a lot... [Nagios-users] NTP CRITICAL: Offset unknown
I frequently receive this status from an NRPE check I have running in a remote server. Can somebady tell me where the problem is. [Nagios-users] Service check on DOWN hosts!!!
I have some services (in different hosts) I check by Nagios. Some of these service checks spend some seconds to execute, so, I've set a window time according each time execution. For example: I've some 30 seconds timeout service check. My problem is that when these host are DOWN, Nagios wait 30 seconds trying to execute the service check. After this 30 seconds, then tell me CRITICAL SERVICE. I want to avoid Nagios checks any service in DOWN host. Please, how can I get it? I want Nagios don't execute any service check until host is UP again. How can I improve the way Nagios shows items in the web? I have more than 20 items with the same parent, so, their icons appear very close. I need to show icons more separated in the web. I stopped Nagios first, and executed from Nagios Server: check_nrpe -H Postfix Server's IP -t 500 -c check_cola_correo and the result was the same (NRPE: Command timed out after 60 seconds) so, I don't think it's because a nagios.cfg's timeout definition. In Postfix Server I have declared in nrpe.cfg this: command[check_cola_correos]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_mailq -w 5000 -c 7000 -M postfix -t 450 and when I run from Nagios Server this: check_nrpe -H Postfix Server's IP -t 500 -c check_cola_correo I obtain this error message: NRPE: Command timed out after 60 seconds What can I do? I don't know where is this timeout of 60 seconds. [Nagios-users] Problem with NRPE!!!
I'm triying to install NRPE but I have a big problem. All documents say that I must do next: tar xzf nrpe-2.8.tar.gz cd nrpe-2.8 ./configure make all make install-plugin make install-daemon make install-daemon-config But when I try to run any make command I receive this error: make: *** No rule to make target `all'. Stop. What can I do? [Nagios-users] Uninstalling Nagios
Please, I need help about uninstalling Nagios. I installed it in my personal PC to do some tests but now I don't know how to uninstall it.
