I've downloaded the nagios plugins version 1.4.16, I've run configure, make all
and make install.
But I still don't find the check_jabber plugins. What did I miss ?

How did you install Nagios? By default, 'make install' will put the
plugins in /usr/local/nagios/libexec, which is the correct location for
source installs. However, if you installed from a package you will
probably need to put them somewhere else, like /usr/lib/nagios/plugins
for example.
