Probably I made some errors in the passive checks configuration ..
The main Nagios server has 132 passive hosts and 400 passive services
configured (only 30 active hosts and 60 active services), received from two
remote Nagios systems.
In each archive file I have more than 420.000

I'd like to send in the passive checks less frequently, but I did not find
where to configure.

I tried also the other way suggested... Set log_external_commands=0
But nothing changed.
If I set log_passive_checks=0 , I will reduce the log file but :
1) I am not sure passive checks will work correctly
2) check_nsca plugin does not work anymore
