ATM SVC rerouting time

Hi folks. Does anyone know the time it takes or should take for an SVC to be rerouted in a small 4-6 switch ATM network running PNNI ? Is it part of the ATM spec or does it depend on the switch manufacturer ? Thanx Paul Paul Khavkine
