Having been a part of a few large lawsuits here, I can say that many judges

A nifty graph that I have found to be fairly accurate is at a little way
down the page.

And an intensive whitepaper at:

Hope this helps.

I'd be willing to bet it wasn't a single "strand". More likely the press or
whoever got it wrong and it was an entire cable or

There are a couple of problems with Natural Gas generators:
1. It takes an aweful lot of pressure to get a NG engine up past enough HP
to generate more than say 150KW. At least thats what we have seen with
current models. It seems to be an issue of pressure, and whether being fed
from a pipelin
This is correct.

Thanks for all the links and help!
The issue is cost and space, and all the products that will work seem to
cost upwards of $3,000 and do a lot more than we need or take up a few rack
units of space. I am probably going to build a small circuit to handle
connecting two GBICs back to back. The pi

Anyone out ther ever see or hear tell of a device that will let you run two
GBICs back to back wthout an associated switch and all the trimmings?
Application is to convert a CWDM GBIC signal to a Multimode one.

Hello All,
There seem to be rumors going around that there is
a new major Cisco vulnerability but only the major backbones are being given
fixes right now.
Something about packets malformed in a certain
manner cause the router to wedge.
Can anyne shed any light on or off
list?

We have always had more of an issue with "Union Members" rather than
"Verizon Employees" per se. If you don't use Union Labor to install in
Boston or New York you had best have a secured cabinet or else 25 pair
bundles seem to spontaneously develop slices.

Since this is being done with the 15454s this is not true rate limiting,
more its a matter of STS channels being made available for use on the Vlan
assigned to the two GigE ports.
We have experienced this problem when sending traffic in excess of 250mbps
through either:
a) 4 or more 15454 hops
That never stopped Worldcom from billing.
Installation? We don't need no stinking Installation!

We always hear the worst but I just thought I would plug Qwest in that they
just installed an OC-12 point to point cross country for me in 27 hours from
time of order. This included cross connects at Level3.
I have not been at one company, not one, service provider or otherwise that
has not had major WCOM billing issues. No matter how large or small we
were.

We recently had a piece of equipment fail outside of Bronson, FL. This was
in a regeneration hut, 50 miles from almost anywhere useful. There is no
cellular service and no POTs in the HUT. The closest employee was a woman
who although bright was not very familiar with the equipment installed.
