Hi - I've enabled Filters on this group...
If you use the web interface, you'll see a new Filters dropdown - this
allows you to only see threads started by you, replied to by you etc.
Hopefully a makes the forum a bit more useful.

That's my first post, but I hope I get an answer to my huge beginner

There is a chance that you have a bad 74141. I would try disconnecting
the 74141 inputs from your uC and try grounding them all. Does
everything turn off? try pull one of the inputs high and verify that the
correct number is lit. I'd do this before proceeding.

Hi,
just tray to change value of anode resistor. 10k is to high for this
tube,
so finally all digits glow together.
Tray this:
R=(190V-140V)/0.002A=25k

I just got a 6909 hi-speed dekatron in the mail, today. I hate hi-speeds,
but it was a trade, for a standard speed 6802, so the other guy's spinner
would work. But this one is a strange one. My other 6909s and 6910s, have
this almost indescribably hideous pinkish/yellowish glow. This one glows
