If you're happy to do create the design files, I'd suggest you take a look at http://www.ponoko.com for laser cutting. Different materials available from different manufacturing 'hubs.' If you want Perspex, you'd be looking for Acrylic, in their materials list. If you use the US hub, you may

Kevin, I get cases made by a friend who runs his own acrylic fabrication shop. The parts aren't laser cut, they're CNC machined from acrylic, oversized at the edges and then polished down to give a nice edge. The trick is in the bonding process of the edges to eliminate bubbles and provide a clean

I've built a couple of the Midibox SID from donor (broken) C64's. There was a listing for a variety of commodore stuff on craigslist a while back and I convinced the guy to give me all of his broken ones. Out of the stack, only 1 had a bad SID chip. The rest went into the trash bin minus their

Thanks Dmitry. My Russian isnt good either. A sine wave drive isnt so easy on a dc powered device, especially at 200v. I could use an rc filter to remove a lot of the harmonics from a square wave signal and produce an approximate sine wave, I dont think these devices will use lots of current so
