David,
I would like to get one, but….
Tindie says no stock.
eBay doesn’t let me bid or even see it when I log in since you’re not shipping
to the USA.
Resolution?

Thanks Nick... yeah it's an E92 M3 the last of the naturally aspirated and a
v8. It's the one with the bump on the hood. People knocked the non straight
six when it came out but now o.O! It sure sounds a lot different.

Hi Bill - welcome to the group!
I saw you asking after a Ray Weisling GeekKlok - Ray died a few years ago,
so support and upgrades are tricky. He was supposed to have given out the
source code, but I'm not sure that ever happened. the price for that clock,
as it includes the tubes, was very rea

Does anyone have a picture of the assembled boards for the B-5971? I'd be
curious to see what this looks like put together. I'm guessing someone did
it since they made the smartsockets.

I would put a RaspberryPi as the main controller; it can get time from the
network via built-in WiFi and all of the control software can be
updated/modified by the end-user. Since it's a Linux-based platform with
remote login via VNC, there's no limit to the kinds of applications that

Good day Dalibor-
Some thoughts on kit features:
- SMT components so the thickness under the PCB isn't large (this is
debatable because some people might have issues soldering them... another
option would be having two versions one with parts and PCB and one with SMT
pre-soldered for more $$$)
John Smout,
I would be interested in one of those R|Z568M single-digit Nixie clocks,
too.

I noticed he makes a two digit version that runs on 5V usb power as well.
Since you have now shown that Dalibor's tubes do in fact work in place of
an original R568M or R5680M that's an option... ie. clock kits made for the
old tubes.

Hello!
I want to develop a kit for our tubes this year, we already started
discussion about the features etc.. It should be a hackable kit..
I would like to hear what features you consider "must have".. Thank you!
The huge tube - this is now on hold.. It was developed for a butique hotel

I say this: the watts specified for an amplifier output are intended to be

Any takers?
