Some tubes just really did this badly. I'm not sure once the metal is embedded
into the glass it can easily be removed. I didn't know rubidium bulbs could
have the Rb migrated back to the other side... but alas it can be done and
restore a Rubidium frequency reference to working with a heat
Put me down for one at least. I might buy more depending on the price. I've
got enough of Carl and Michael's clocks so why not!
