Tremendous respect Michael. I am currently redesigning a boost converter using a LM3478. It’s a surprisingly involved process, especially if not well acquainted with power circuitry. I’ve found that, between refinement of component values and board layout design, it’s very much an art and science.

Hi there, Bill, I have before, yep. That's a beast of a roll. Tried and true technology. I have begun moving away from the use of ribbon cables because cross-talk has bitten me a couple of times. I have been learning to write my own USB drivers, though it's still very much a work in progress.
