I am more of a collector than an engineer I'm afraid but I have just got my
fabuloso MOD-6_7971 for which I purchased 6 tubes last year, unfortunately
I had nothing to test them with when they arrived, and now having installed
them, one segment on one tube is out (top right vertical) .

I have 8 old IN-18's that have seen better days. When inserted into one of
Mr Nixie(UK)'s excellent Cyclox 3 time pieces using it as a testbed, in
daytime bright mode most of the cathodes light, but some have slight dark
areas in the middle of the digits. When in

I have picked up a few B-7971 supertubes and whilst I have Jeff, Pete and
Jurgen's wonderfull 4LW quietly swearing in the corner - I yearn for a
clock/message board with maybe 8 or more of these tubes with a clock
function but also a scrolling message feature with a computer link to drive
it.
Anyone have any B7971's for sale ?
