As others commented on the blog, the basic EE theory is largely unchanged. What *HAS* changed in the past 30 years is the amount of simulation work you can do on circuits, so I would hope that is covered in the new edition. When I choose components for my designs, the availability of SPICE

For many Electronic Engineers, myself included, AoE was *the* definitive text but that was 26 years ago. Parts of it obviously became outdated as the industry progressed and the 3rd edition has been long discussed and anticipated. Now, it's finally here
