I am listing a set of 6 tested NOS NL5440A (Smooth top design)nixies on
E-bay auction number 281219252887. Auction ends in about 16 hours. I
will be listing more of these tubes soon. This is my shameless plug.
I have been a member of this group for a long time and have learned a lot
and have made many friends. So for the coming Christmas season I am going
to give away a set of 6 of the NL5440A tubes, the only cost will be for
postage(At the post office cost).
The informal contest will be for the most interesting use for these
tubes. Clock, GPS, Depth meter for your one man sub, what ever! Put the
ideas on the group and the group can vote. Most popular wins. I hope
this is ok with the moderators. In the far past the group has had opinion
surveys on other topics so I am thinking it can work a bit like that.
