Hi
My problem is i should go only with product's STABLE version.Now i am with
5.2.1(as net-snmp site says).But a DoS and ficproc bug has been posted on
this version.so i need to find the next stabe version which fixes these
issues.
As per http://secunia.com/advisories/15930/ , i went with 5.2.1.2.
In net-snmp 5.1 version do we support community string with
special characters. For e.g.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
The agent does not respond when I try to access it with the
above community name.

when i am trying to compile net-snmp 5.2.1 using g++ i am getting link
error. i changed the Makefile in agent/ and mibgroup/ added my
mymib.c & mymib.h file did make. was sucessfull to build mibgroup
but when i am building agent/ getting the following error.
Can anyone please tell
Is oid used to declare an oid is a user-defined data type or a typedef
or structure?
Could anyone pls brief on this?

Can we use notification.c separately to generate
traps using enterprise OIDs? I have been trying to use it as a separate
module...Just keeping the Net-SNMP APIs...But without any success. Has someone
done this before?
