Thanks. Yes, I know my life would be easier on MSVC 2008, for many other things as well, but unfortunately my hands are tied for the time being. As for the linker errors, I did manage to make them go away. I had a conflict with libc.lib, and it turns out that I couldn't link the debug netsnmp
