Hi, Coders. Several bugs have been fixed recently, and my terse commenting is causing some pain. I apologize for this.
I had opened (then closed) patch #969338 to collect the changes that the FreeBSD 4.x and 5.x environments required. Although closed, you can still read the tarball containing up-to-date patches that have been applied. Until the next tarball appears, one recipe for building FreeBSD might go something like this: 1. Download net-snmp-5.1.1 or the net-snmp-5.1.2.pre1 tarball. 2. Download the patch #969338 tarball. 3. Save the build script tarball attached here. 4. open all tarballs;cd to net-snmp* 5. cat ../post*patch*/* | patch -p1 6. ../run-allio.sh
