Hello,

I have installed Net-SNMP on a linux station and it works well. But when i
start SNMPTRAD with the %V to specifie a variable-bindings separator ("as
you can see below") , I don't get the excepted result. Regarding the
SNPTRAPD Man pages, the %V flag is not supported for SNMPTRAD linux
distribution. However, i have used the same command on Sun Solaris server
and it supports the %V flag.

Here the command I try to execute :

$"/opt/bmc/Patrol3/Proxy_SNMP/sbin/snmptrapd -f -P -n -F
\"##BEGIN##\n%V\n%P\n%A|%B\n%w\n%q\n%N\n%v\n##END##\n\" -M/opt/bmc/Patrol3/P
roxy_SNMP/mibs

Could you please help to find the way to fix this problem ?
Couldt you tell me if it is possible to find a way to use the %V flag on
Linux ?

Best Regards,
SAHLI Chaouki
