Have you considered running valgrind on it? BR, Nikos ----- Original Message ----- From: VenkatRangan Govindarajan To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, December 21, 2008 9:12 AM Subject: Query reg Net-SNMP5.4.2.1
Hi, Thanks for the responses regarding the query about mtrace(). Although we find that after SET/GET we observe the snmpd daemon using up some 4 KB from the free memory, so we would like to know if any bug has been reported on this . In fact the memory is not being freed back at all, hence the OOM-Killer comes in to picture after a certain amount of time to kill the snmpd!! The platform details powerpc-linux 32-bit we run it using -f -Le option and we compile the snmpd as a static executable. any response would be greatly appreciated. -- Venkatrangan Govindarajan ( When there is no wind...Row ) -- Venkatrangan Govindarajan ( When there is no wind...Row ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-coders mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-coders
