Hello Everybody,
I have one question: when an inform times out, snmpd reports the following
error:
snmpd: send_trap: Timeout
Would it be possible to print also the PDU contents that couldn't be sent
(perhaps there is a correspondig -D flags) ?.
This would facilitate diagnosis.
TIA,
Loïc.

The '-m' option takes the name of the MIB *module*

Greetings,
Going throughout the net and some books I have seen the term North
Bound interface a lot, I believe is the interface between one SNMP
network and one one an upper layer, but dont know exactly how to
implement it in my system.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Augusto.

Ok, thank you very much. I solved the problem.
The problem was:
Under /var/agentx I had a directory called master, and not a file.
So what I

You can find them at http://www.bullfreeware.com/ (for AIX 5.x it is under

This will give you installp packages for AIX. It is either that or compile

Hello Taner,
Actually, the 'hrPrinterTable (1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.5.) is part of the Host
Resources MIB (1.3.6.1.2.1.25.). If you 'spoof' a generic printer with
values from the original Printer MIB (1.3.6.1.2.1.43.) [RFC-1759, obsolete],
that should be detected by HP Web JetAdmin. I was able to
