I'm trying to monitor an SLES 11 system. I had earlier compiled and
installed net-snmp 5.4.2.1 from the tar files.. this was however not working .
and i wansn't able to run the command 'make unistall '
so i installed it using yast. removed it and reinstalled it.
but am still having

I still can't get net-snmp to show up in running services for SLES 11.. It
only shows in snmptrap as running.. in netstat -lu
On Opensuse 11.1 , it shows both snmp and snmptrap working fine..
I can't figure out what's wrong...
For the OPensuse system i get

You need a space between "-f" and "-Dread_config"
