Hi,
I want to install perl SNMP module on solaris 10 servers and I cannot do
that successfully by using
perl -MCPAN -e shell
> install SNMP
failed.
I do not know why.
However why i can seel /user/perl5/5.8.4/sun4-solaris-64int/SNMP.pm there.
does that mean SNMP module is installed by default?
On the system, it has perl 5.8.4, maybe some perl 5.8.7
I believe there is default net-snmp module under
/usr/sfw/bin/net-snmp-config which is 5.0.9 version
my colleague install nagios , which contain net-snmp 5.3.1 and par t of perl
5.8.8.
Can I use the solaris default net-snmp ? how can I compile and install my
perl module successfully?
thanks
yifei
