Hi,
I posted this last week but up till now nobody answered, so I'am trying
again.
I'm unable to get net-snmp diskio running on HPUX 11.00 (HP-UX nmshps16
B.11.00 U 9000/800 1193414631 unlimited-user license).
I use following config to compile:
./configure--with-mib-modules=host
I do not have root privileges and I am trying to install and run
net-snmp agent on Linux. I get the following error when I try to start
the agent-
$ ./snmpd -L -f
Error opening specified endpoint udp:161
Server Exiting with code 1
$ netstat -a | grep sn
$--returns nothing--
$px ax | grep snmp

the users mailing list is described.
I'm having trouble getting Net-SNMP 5.1.2 to send authentication traps

Hmmm... I decided to try this myself since I'm also running
Fedora Core 2.
I'm seeing the same results.
I ran
