you have included obj - files in the net-snmp-5.7.2.1.tar.gz (look at
the filesize) at sourceforge. This causes touble if you cross - compile
the package: mibgroup/snmpv3/.libs/usmConf.o: file not recognized: File
format not recognized. Please remove the obj - from the archiev.

Can you grab a fresh copy and try again? The original release package was
mildly broken.
